Sam has over 15 years of technical experience in cross-systems collaborations, policy design, grants, and large scale research, blending clinical and scientific expertise. Technical assistance or contract work is by direct negotiation and based on current interests and availability.

The Center for Healthcare Strategies quality improvement collaborative on psychotropic prescribing for youth in foster care.
The Patient-Centered Outcome Research Institute for child health outcomes and connecting PCORI to peer research collaboratives.

The federal Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration System of Care initiatives including core research collaborator on designing and measuring cross-state systems outcomes for the Mental Health Transformation State Incentive Grants in FY 2008-11, faculty for the System of Care Primer Hands on Training, and multiple faculty positions for the Georgetown University Training Institutes.
